A few years ago I built up a .308 AR10 and used an Odin Works adjustable gas block...and it works great. So when I recently decided to build another 10 in 6.5 Creed I went for the same block. But even with the screw turned down all the way it's still overgassed. I am getting some nice burrs from the ejector. I contacted Odin and they say it can't hold back the high pressure from the 6.5. It does "work" but I want to be able to reload my brass.

So what are yall using? Was thinking of trying a Superlative Arms bleed off block. Any suggestions?

The rifle is an Aero M5 build with a Criterion 22" rifle gas system. Heavy buffer with Strike flat wound spring.

So with a Odin you can’t shut the gas all the way off? Interesting. I have a titanium SLR on my 6.5 cm and it works great. I also have superlative adjustables on several ar15’s and they work great too.

On my .308 I can completely shut it off and turn it into a single shot. But the 6.5 still has so much pressure it blows by it...looking at QuickLOAD it shows at least 15% higher pressures at the same point.

I went ahead and ordered the SA set screw mount from their website as they have a 20% Military discount. Will report back on how it works...

Took SA a while to make them, but I finally got my gas block and tried it out today. Yeah!!! It's able to control the mighty Creed. Thanks for all your help guys...

I like the SLR and the Superlative arms, but check your gas port location(.275 or .295 or .300) from shoulder. Superlative arms does only .275 and if your gas port is .300 ............be careful.
I would assume that if the port didn't line up with the block you would end up with a single shot AR? Mine cycled just fine after I opened it up...I do need to fine tune it though.

No clue...It's a Criterion heavy 22" barrel. They do show the port is .295 from the shoulder. It's dimpled for the gas block and I just lined up the screws to match. Even if it's slightly off there appears to be enough gas to work just fine. I was nowhere near using all the range it has.
