Just picked it up last night.

23 inch Krieger
Badger M2008 Gen 1 action Melonited
McMillan A5
R&D bottom metal
Jewell trigger

Now All I need to do is coat the barrel, trying to decide on finish options.

How's your cheek weld? That scope looks like it is sitting a little high, but it could just be the picture.

Very nice. What's the blue ring on the scope for? Some kind of fiber optic like a Trijicon?

The blue ring looks like painters tape to keep the lense cap tight. Could be dead wrong but is my guess.. I have done the same thing on some hunting rifles. Nice looking rifle.

That's an older IOR scope, from back when they put their signature blue ring on them. Sweet stick!

Fired 50 rounds through it today.

max range was 75 yards.

Seems to like the RL-17 and 120 amax combo, but I am still getting used to it.

the bolt throw is nice

i too am wondering about cheek weld? how was it after you've shot it?

I did not have a problem with the cheek weld the stock pack helps,

I have another set of TPS rings, I might try mounting to get a lower mount

Forgot to post pics of the first outing.

The smaller group was the factory load.

the flyers are the first shot and then i adjusted scope to get to the center of the orange square

Still trying to decide on the finish of the barrel

I've never liked the look of Badger actions, but yours is a fine looking rifle. Congratulations.
