Hey guys I was just wondering what you guys do for load workup? This is a new bergara hmr 6.5 creedmoor. I used once fired Hornady brass, cci 200 primers, reloader 16 for powder and 143 gr Hornady eldx. I started powder loads at 37.6 grains and worked all the way up to 42.6. I used .5 grain increments. Got to 42.6 and did not see signs of pressure. Bolt opened great and and did not see extractor marks, nor did anything happen much with the primer. Just curious what you guys think from the 5 shot groups I shot. I was shooting at 100 yards. 39.1, 40.1, 40.6, 41.1, and 42.6 look the best. 40.1 and 41.1 look like they are the winners to me. Just curious what you guys would do from here? If you would load them up and go to 200 yards?

I would keep going until you see pressure. Then select from there. I have a rifle whose best load is right on the edge of pressure signs. Why risk passing up a fast and accurate load for a slow and accurate one?
