I had a chance to stretch the legs on my new AI yesterday. I was shooting the 140 A-Max and 130 Berger Hunting VLD. This was also my first run with a new Bushnell scope. I really liked the G2 reticle. It took me a couple rounds to get on target at 905 yards. I had limited dust kicking up so it was tough to spot misses. Once I got on target with the 140, I fired 7 times. The first two hits were low left and then I held over and fired 5 more in the upper right.
I then drove back to the target to verify and repaint. My next 4 shots with the Berger 130 were the best I have shot to date. The first 3 were so close, I couldn't really make them out. I kept hearing the ding, but I couldn't make out any news holes.
I then came back to earth with the next five.
