Kind of obvious you didn't read Bryan's book, as G7 BC can, and does, vary with velocity. It's just not as much for bullets that fit the G7 drag function....
For said bullet, G7 BC varies .016 between 1500 and 3000 fps (5.614%) and G1 varies almost 18%. On 52 MKs, G7 varies almost 10% across same range, while G1 only varies 4% (it's drag curve fits the G1 formula better than the G7). Don't forget your program has to be able to do G7 curve, or that number doesn't mean anything.
