6.5 PRC - Barnes 127 LRX and Retumbo Help

I am shooting 127Barnes and can only find Retumbo powder and BR2 Primers. Have yall had success with this? any load data? Shooting 22" suppressed proof barrel with 1/8 twist.

I was thinking 59-60grains. Any one use this load?

Thanks yessir! Took me forever to find a left handed action.

None of my books have that combination. I have contacted Barnes but no response.

Think you will be ok but near top. Barnes lists 59.8 as max with a 140.

Work your way up, I end up compressing powder earlier with that bullet vs a 140gr HPBT.

Yeah that’s the only information I saw as well.

I'd look at H4831 for that combination.

John Barsness, on his 6.5 PRC Load Data article, published a charge of 60.5 Retumbo powder for a 3011 fps velocity.

No help with your combo. I have 2@ 6.5 SAUM’s and have only used h1000 and 7977. Have you looked up the SAUM PRC Facebook page? There should be some of that info on that page. I only know if it, no Nosebook for me.
