6.5 SAUM - Bighorn Arms TL3 Double Stack AW Magazine Compatability Question -

Hi there,

I have a Bighorn Arms TL3 with the AW Cut receiver. I was wondering if there is any way to use the 6.5 SAUM with this receiver? I'm specifically referring to what magazines I'd have to use. If it's AI style only, would that work in the AW Cut receiver?

Sure can, Alpha or Accurate mags work just fine.

Helps to get the 300 wsm mags. I think it’s either 3 or 7 round capacity

Are those single stack magazines? Will my AW cut receivert feed from single stack magazines when it normally takes double stack? I know AI magazines fit in the same magazine well, I just wasn't sure if it would feed from a single stack.

Sorry if these sound like stupid questions, but I have not even fired my TL3 yet, it's been a project and my goal is to make it into a 6.5 SAUM after I learn how to shoot on .308 (I have AW .308s right now).

It should feed just fine from either AW or AICS/AICS-style magazines.
