Well i've got 15 rounds down range with a 6.5 4s, I'm getting pressure signs at 62.0grns up to 63.0grns. Tight bolt lift.

    130 berger HVLD 2.875"
Norma 7 SAUM brass, necked down .0145" thickness.
    Fed 215 Mag
    Bartlein 24" barrel 8.5T Left, .2962NK .081FB
    Bighorn TL3

    59.2grn - 2896fps
    62.0grn - 3056
    62.5grn - 3086
    63.0grn - 3117

Quick Load is giving me 61.8grn for a node at 3033fps.

I know most end up picking up ~100fps after a hundred rounds or so. Is this about what everyone else is getting?

Mine did the same thing ,showed pressure early and was shooting similar speeds to yours. After 100 rds or so it sped up 150 fps and pressure signs were no more.
i suggest getting 100 mild rounds through it before pressure testing and load development.

Thanks for the info, that's what I was after. I assumed I'd gain some with a bit of wear. That gives me a little more confidence. I guess I'll have to go play.
    thanks again

I had the same thing at 63 grains. I backed off my load to 61.3 and found a good node. Now after about 200 rounds down the pipe I'm back to 63 grains. I still use the locker loaf for hot days, it's the same zero

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns

    OK, that makes a difference.

    FWIW, I ran my 22" 6.5 with Hornady GAP 4s brass. 62.5gr H1000 yielded 3055 fps with a 130HVLD.
My 24" uses necked down & turned Norma SAUM brass, 63.5gr H1000 with (molyed) 130HVLDs nets 3205 fps

Looks like you're in the ballpark. Listen to what your rifle is tellin' ya, and you'll find a happy place to settle in to...

Well I loaded up 10 rounds of 61.8grns h1000 with the 130 hvld. I tested them for velocity and ran it back through quick load and I'm dang near spot on a node. My es over 10 rounds was 3fps. It was so consistent shot to shot I thought my magnetospeed wasn't reading correctly. 3042-3045fps.

    Hey pat,
yep I necked them down from 7 saum Norma brass.
    expanded them.
    Cut for overall length.
    Turned necks to .0145 thickness.
    Annealed
Necked them down to final, .002 neck tension
    Loaded.

    Thoughts Pat?
