As we all know powder is hard to get. I am using 130's and 140 grain rounds by both Sierra and Berger, have a few others like a 129 SSt's to play with when I got some cheap. I know the go to powder is H4350. I have a chance at N204 which on a burn chart is one step slower than the H4350. I have never used IMR 4350 but there are a few pounds around.
I would like to try H4831sc, there is no sc around but some 4831 locally.

The N204 is in bulk - $230 for 8 lbs. Normal pound sales in my area if and when one can find them are currently $32.00 a lbs. I have never used Norma powders before. Mostly I have gone with Hodgdon powder because of availability and manuals. But, the times make for interesting options.

26" Shilen Barrel, trued action, bedded. Cases are mostly Remington and L/C. Primers CCI.

Thoughts? Thanks

I load for the .280 (mostly a 7mm-'06), and use both H-4350 and H-4831SC. You might want to try Ramshot Magnum, W780, Winchester WMR, and/or Norma MRP.
