6.5cm build help: cerakote/melonite

Okay, this is primarily aesthetic...

I’m wrapping up a “do all” rifle. End goal is 8.75lb ish with a scope.

As it sits it is 7.5lbs (obviously weight will be lost as the barrel is cut).

Question being, the action is a melonited BAT VRD. If I get the barrel cerakoted can I get close to matching the color/appearance of the action? Wondering your thoughts? Or do I say heck with it and just keep it two toned

This is rather a question for your painter. If he cannot match though, why not just paint both action and barrel?

I just wasn’t sure how well or if cerakote would adhere to the melonite. If no issue there that’s what I will do.

Oh gotcha...

I was under the impression the action was cerakoted with a melonite color. I guess that's what happens when not reading carefully lol.

In that case, I'm not sure what to tell you...
