I am loading for tactical target shooting out to 900 yards and in a Rem 700 308 rebarreled to 260 Remington 24" barrel with 8.5" twist and wondering if there is any known advantage between the two 140 grain, 6.5mm Berger bullets. Any help out there?

The target bullet is known as the thick jacketed J4 and the hunting bullet is the original style J4 jacketed bullet. Both are fine for target shooting.
