I have a set of Whidden FL Bushing dies with micrometer seater for 6.5 creedmoor but am now reloading for 6mm creedmoor. I already have 6mm CM Alpha brass.
    • Is it possible to use the 6.5 CM dies with the appropriate 6mm bushing to resize 6mm creedmoor brass?
    • Is it possible to use the 6.5 CM and a 6mm seating stem to seat bullets for 6CM?

Good thought OP. I too will be transitioning to a 6c in the future. I have a Redding comp set and have picked up a Redding bushing sizer die and had been looking for the seater die but this now has me thinking. So buying at 6c seating stem would be all I need I assume?

Looks like it. And the correct bushing for your brass. My 6CM Alpha brass and 115 DTAC uses a .268 bushing for .0020-.0025 neck tension.

I am going to try it out this week and let you know how it resizes. I’m waiting on my 6mm seating stem to get here then I’ll let you know how well it seats

im, switching from 6.5 creedmoor to 6mm creedmoor. idahohunter208, how did they seat using 6.5 creedmoor dies?
It works great!! However I messed up when I ordered the seating stem from WhiddenGunworks. I ordered the short one ( 1.1" OAL) instead of ordering the longer one (1.6" OAL). I got ahold of Whidden and sent the short one back and they sent me the long one. Then it worked perfect.

FYI I am using the Forster Co-Ax press and am shooting the 115gr DTAC. I would recommend getting the specific seating stem for the bullet you are shooting, and get ahold of Whidden Gunworks to make sure you are ordering the correct seating stem length.

I'm using the Redding competition die set. And I'll be using the same bullets. I wonder if those will work on my dies?

I don’t think those seating stems would work for Redding dies.

    Are you using h4350?
Yes I was using H4350. Was getting decent groups around 3000fps. But I just switched to RL16 because I ran out of H4350. Haven’t done any testing yet on the RL16
