Hello one and all. I'm new to reloading, and have a few questions that I'm hoping some of you with vast experience will enlighten me on:
1. The .308 once fired brass, or new Lapua needs to be necked down the 6.5 this gun shoots. I have the 6.5 full length case die, but it crushes my brass. Do I need a step down die of some sort?
2. I'm looking for grain weight loading 120gr Barnes TTSX using 4831SC and Remington 9 1/2 primers. I haven't been able to track down any information just yet.

You want to FL size in the 308 die, then neck size down to 7mm and then 6.5mm, once that's done you should anneal the neck and shoulders to help in the fireforming process.

Also, you don't want to shoot super hot loads with the fireforming or you'll risk splitting the neck/shoulder on the AI case.
