I just got finished building a 6.5x280 Ackley Improved and looking for some load data for Berger 140 and Hornady 143 ELDX bullets. I’m going to start with 61-62 grains of H4831sc maybe some H4350 as well. I’m waiting for some H1000 to come in. I had PTG build the reamer and used Redding type S dies with a .293 neck bushing and sized my Nosler 280 AI brass. The brass fit perfectly and I’m ready to give it a try. I built the gun for a long range hunting rifle. McMillan Carbon Fiber stock and a 24” Hardy Carbon Fiber barrel. 7 pounds without the scope and rings.
