Just got paperwork back to put my 6.8 SBR together. Took it to range for test run. Took 3 different mags, PRI,Bushmaster and C-Products all being 30rd. mags. After initial rack from charging handle to bring into function all 3 mags gave me failure to feed after first round. All components of weapon are topshelf and new. Ammo was Remington 15gr. ,Hornady Match 115 gr. and Silver State. All rounds repeated the same results along with each brand of mags.Just for specs sake : Noveske10.5" barrel, PWS Diablo flash supressor, Larue f/a bcg, White Oak 6.8 bolt , matching Noveske uper and lower. Any thoughts or areas to start check list on? Trying to keep from having to return ship a Class 3 lower. Thanks for any wisdom or insight!

Re: 6.8 SPC Failure to feed problem

Sure they are 6.8 SPC mags with 6.8 SPC followers? Was not aware of any 30 round 6.8 SPC mags on the market.

Have you tried loading the mags with just one round and seeing if it will feed correctly?

Also, make sure the barrel extension and upper receiver feedramps are correctly aligned.

If the tips hit the ramps with 1 or 2 cartridges in the mag tweak the spring to prevent the follower from nose diving.

I'm wondering the same.

Does the bolt lock back after shooting the last round in the mag?

Agree with it sounding like it's short stroking. What buffer/spring/stock are you running? Also, can you slingshot through several rounds from the magazines? Any sign of the BCG getting hung up on anything, like the bolt catch? Signs of gas leakage (tube/gas key loose)?

Just running through some of the more common causes here...
