Has anybody built a 6 BE on a Win or FN CRF M70 short action? If so, will it feed from the factory internal magazine box? If not what miss were required?

Usually you have to put it in a 22/250 magazine box, but with the sharp shoulder, it's a hard one to make feed.

I have several BR's built on Rem 700 actions. They will both feed from a box magazine. One uses a .223 follower and the other uses a .308 follower. So, it can be done, but neither one likes to be cycled slowly. Good luck with your project as the 6BR is an awesome round.

I tried 6mmbr.com first and didn't get any replies yet. I'm wondering about the m70 wssm mag box. Does anybody know the inside dimensions of that one? Thanks for your help.

i did it on fn spr which is essentially the same didn't work reliably with aics mags

My action is actually an FN SPR as well. What mags did you use, 223 or 308?
