I am trying to find out the part number of a piccatiny rail section that would fit on the six o'clock position of JP AMCS.
Their rep said I need JPTR-S, however, it has a backing plate, which the bottom rail pieces don't use.
What rail section do people use?

Thanks.

Re: 6 O'clock rail for JP AMCS

Unless they've recently changed something, the backing plate is not required for the six position. It's only for the slots in the hand guard. For the six position you don't use the plate. The bolt spacing in the rail matches the holes in your hand guard so it bolts right up.

Thanks for the info. No they haven't changed anything, it's just that the piccatiny rail, as shown on their site comes with a backing piece, so I though it wasn't designed for the 6 o'clock position.
