'World's dirtiest man' dead at 94 'not long after' taking bath for first time in decades

Amou Haji, known as "the world's dirtiest man," has died at the age of 94 in Iran. He died "not long" after villagers took him to a bathroom to wash, according to local media.

We had a Marine go AWOL, lived on the streets of LA for a month or so( 1975). He got found out , picked up, brought back to our barracks nasty smelling as hell, I was the chaser. No way he’s getting in a jeep with me, handcuffed in a shower and scrubbed down by a couple equally pissed off 0311s with scrub brushes. He screamed like a bitch. We hog tied him and brought him to the brig. With the blessings of the CO of course. He got scrubbed out of the Marine Corps

Seems like there's always "that one guy" who won't bathe. Dad said they drug a guy into the showers along with bristle brushes and a box of Tide... He was "squeaky pink" when they got done scrubbing him. But he learned his lesson and stayed squared away from then on.

Guess I lucked out though. Everyone in my barracks was a regular bather.

don't wonder if he stunk know yes , he stunk to high heaven and now he's someone else's problem his village did not make him bath to get him clean then he died they killed him so they would never again have to smell him .

My stepdad was in the Navy back in the 50's, and told me they would "sand and canvas" those stinky bastards who refused to bathe. Only had to do it one time before they learned.
