6BR Ackley Trim Length

Very likely an ignorant question, but I'm new to the wildcat specifically the 6BRA. Could someone provide a saami cartridge trim length for this? I'm assuming the same as the 6BR parent, but not positive.

You wont find SAAMI specs for anything ackley improved. You also wont find a SAAMI spec for anything br case based, it would be under CIP.

That said Im still looking for it as well. I would contact whoever chambered the barrel for you to get a reamer print.

Measure the average of the three shortest cases, add .002", trim the rest at that length. BUT discount any odd and overly short cases, common sense, right?! Toss those outliers or use for top of pressure signs testing !!!

The shorter cases will grow and you can catch them in a couple more cycles.

This is of course "after fireforming and preferably being shot twice.
