6br overall length question

I am beginning to load for my new 6br rifle. The listed overall length I found is 2.440. I seated a bullet to that length then chambered the round. I then re-measured and the length was 2.354. Is there an issue with this or is it normal?
I am using Peterson 6br brass with a 105 matchburner. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like you need to find your own chamber length and go from there.
Hornady makes gauge, I like the Finding Your Lands video that’s referred to as the wheeler method.

But I’d the bullets getting pushed back on chambering you are loading long and jamming it.
