What COAL/CBTO are you guys getting running 105g berger hybrid and 108eld 6BRA. Very new to to this caliber and the COAL modified case I bought didnt seem to fit the chamber right and I was getting numbers all over. Feels like Im seating too deep and alot of jump.

Its an altus spun 7.5tw Bartlien. Shot 3 different loads in both the 105 and 108 with H4895. Tried 30.3g 30.5g and 30.7g. None of those shot anything impressive.

my BTO is 1.803 touching(or very light jam)the lands with a 105 hybrid with a .104 freebore....i run .005 off the lands so 1.798...ive got 759 rounds so jump is probably a bit more now.

also my BRA did not shoot 4895 worth a shit either im running varget.

I’m touching the lands at 1.816 CBTO. 4895 is great in mine at 30.7 with .005 jump. Try the wheeler method of finding your lands. Always much easier and more accurate for me. It’s on YouTube.

1.810 for me using the Wheeler method. I tried two different modified cases (1 new from Copper Creek & one custom from Hornady) and neither fit well. The wheeler method worked great; even easier with CRF (no ejector pin)

Loading 1.800 and 30.4 H4895 @ 2925 with 26” Bartlein.
