Got all my goods for my next 6mm build from Joe Bobs 3 days after my order....KUDOS to Joe Bobs!!
The barrel will be here within 3 weeks & be 22" long.
It wont be fancy, wont have useless extras on it, wont be for tight quarters, wont have photos taken at home looking pretty.
It will be accurate, will be used, will be pictured in the field w/ game, will be hauled all over 5 states taking coyote & medium game.
Any guesses as to which 6mm it will end up as?

Based on the mag follower being blue I'm assuming that's an ASC mag for the 6.5 Grendel so my guess would be a Grendel based 6mm. Such as the normal 6mm AR, the 6mm AR Turbo 50 Improved or the 6mm Fat Rat which I have. BUT the round you have there looks like the case is way longer than mine and the bullet is shorter so my prior theory may not hold water. And is likely a .223 based cased for the 6mm bullets which I think might be a WOA 6mm. I'm torn with the riddle here...

Is your gas tube longer than rifle length on the 22" barrel or is that a rifle length tube? Who's making the barrel?

Fried Chicken/McLarenross......pretty close.
Its the 6mmx6.8 & based on the 6.8 spc brass with a straight neck down to 6mm using Redding type 2 bushing dies.
It runs along with the 6WOA & 6 DTI rounds for speed off the same brass, except those have blown shoulder.
The 6.5 mags work super with the round so I went w/ that mag as the 6.8 mags were out of stock at midway where I got those.
My barrel will be a Black Hole Weapons P3, 22", 1/9 or 1/10 twist depending on what they get in. Either will spit the 55-80g bullets I use for coyote/antelope.
The tube is standard rifle length on the 22" barrel.
This round fits right between my 6x45 and .243 Winchester rigs.
I did not want a short/fat round, but had to toss up the 6mm WOA ^mm DTI and 6x6.8 round.
I didn't want any fire forming so the 6x6.8 won out and I already had the 6.8 Redding S dies on hand.
