Thanks. I was pretty sure the 1 in 14 was the suggested rate of twist for that weight bullet,but a friend of mine had this gun built and is trying to sell it to me. He claims the gun will handle the lighter rounds fine but the gun has a 1 in 10 twist. It is a nice rifle and is built well but the best I could do with it in the lighter bullets using 5 different recipes was .87 inch. Now thats not a bad group but the havier bullets I loaded for it shot 3/8 inch groups with ease. But I already own several rifles more suited for the 100 gr. loads and was looking for more of a varmint rifle. Thanks for your input.
