6mm bullet choice

I am thinking of going with a 6 CM or a .243 for my next DTA SRS Conversion.

From reading up on the calibers it seems that the 105 Berger hybrids and the 115 DTACs are very popular for these calibers. Who has shot both and which one do you prefer?

What do you want the bullet to do when it reaches it's destination? Punch paper & ring steel or something else?
