Is it possible to be getting 2950 muzzle velocity with 115 grain dtac with 39 grains h4350 28 inch barrel that's what showed up on the chronograph? I know I could just go out and shoot it to see if the come UPS are matching up with muzzle velocity but pretty stormy out today.

With my 6xc(I realize it’s slightly different) and 39.5 gr of 4350 behind the 115 dtacs I’m getting right around 3000 FPS in a 28” barrel. Don’t know if it helps much. The 6creed is only slightly longer than the 6xc and with the same amount of powder will typically show similar results.

41.2 gives me ~ 2970 of H4350 in a 26". No pressure signs. (Alpha brass SRP). I think i could get up to the next node of ~ 3030 with ~ 41.9 gr.

40 gr in Lapua brass gets 3009 FPS in my 26” Criterion 6mm Creedmoor barrel with a match chamber.

I also have Criterion MT. 7 twist ( . 183 FB) I was loading them to hot. 41g......41.5g horrible accuracy 1 " @ 100yds

But 39g. Looks like 3/8" could be possible.

Thanks for all your replies.

I've been running this combo for around 500 rounds now out of a 6mm RPR. Sounds about right. Mine seems to like 38g at roughly 2800fps.

I’m getting right around 3000 fps with a 26” benchmark, 40 gn of H4350, Hornady brass, CCI 250.

Yes I love the dtacs now shot a 1 inch group at 433 yards there is 3 mile per hour wind 9 to 3.

I was definitely running them too hot two days ago everybody told me 3050 muzzle velocity is The Sweet Spot but not for this Barrel evidently
