Barrel - Black Hole Weaponry / Columbia River Arms “P3” Barrel
416 Stainless - Polished finish
22” National Match Contour
Rifle length gas system (.750” seat)
Threaded 5/8-24 TPI 3A
1-8” Twist (Suitable for the longest bullets useable, up to 107gr SMK)
Throat length is short enough to load VLD’s to mag length
3 Grooves - MFG toutes these barrels to have polygonal rifling, though under video bore-scope, they appear to be a 3 groove conventional land/groove.
Bore-scoping shows a nicely lapped, well finished interior.
Requires a 7.62x39 bolt for proper head spacing (.125” recess) I do have a mil-spec bolt that has been turned to proper dimensions if you would like it, it can be included at no charge.
This barrel length in 243LBC is supposed to be able to put 95 gr VLD’s around 2975 FPS and stay supersonic beyond 1000 yards.
Dies - The die set is the recommended die set to accompany this barrel/chamber.
Redding Type S FL Bushing die
6.5 Grendel- .269” bushing
Forster Ultra-Micrometer seater die
