6mm Rem w/ Hornady 105 Match BTHP Seating Depth

I have some of these loaded up to shoot from my Ruger M77 MKII and have seated them to the Hodgdon reload data for 105 AMAX', at 2.825.

Does anyone have a Ruger M77 that have loaded these? Im curious to know your seating depth.

There are no magic numbers. If your loaded ammo chambers and shoots well, the seating is fine. If not, experiment until it does.

I've got the same rifle but I only shoot sierra 100 gr gamekings. They shoot best at .025" jump to the lands. I measure everything with a comparator. Those are 2.460" from the base to the ogive, iirc.

Thanks for the response. I use the same bullet, my measurement is 2.600 to the ogive.
