Not sure if this or the Gunsmithing forum is the best place, but here goes...

I'm planning on a 6XC build for next season, with the intention of shooting the Sierra 110gr Match Kings. I'm wondering what freebore you guys are running that shoot this combo? I have seen 0.090" for 105 Hybrids, and 0.140-0.160" for the 115 DTacs, so my thought is more towards the 0.140" freebore on account of how long the 110 SMKs are (assuming 1.5° throat angle). I will be running them out of AW mags, so I've got plenty of room to work with.

    Thanks!

The bullet demands less freebore than a 105 hybrid, bullet is all nose. I don't want you to build or ream a chamber off my suggestion, but I think a .105-110" freebore in the sweet spot.

I would advise to load up a dummy round and send in to PTG. Make sure to specify your bore (.236 or .237), requested jump length, and neck diameter. I can personally say that Dave Kiff will make sure you are taken care of.
I am in the same situation with a 6 Creedmoor.
