I’m interested in hearing the good and the bad about the 7-35 NFATACR for ULR. Never been to big on busy rets but I need plenty of vertical drop for holdover; so I’ve been studying on their new tremor ret. The cost puts it close to Tangent Theta territory. I haven’t used NF since the early NSX days. No real complaints about those, just not the greatest glass. Appreciate comments on the glass, rets, durability for larger calibers, and tracking. Since I brought up
Tangent Theta, any input on them and new rets for the same application also appreciated.

The 7-35 Mil XT worked beautifully for me to 1275 yards this weekend. Pretty easy to spot shots on a 24x36 at that range. The mirage did become a factor as it heated up. The 5-25 Mil C was very good too. Just MHO...

The NF 7-35 is a fantastic piece of glass. It is a modern masterpiece. I have literally been able to watch trace into my target at 1K under clear conditions.
I have been surprised at it more than once.
I have only shot it out to 1200, but have NO reason to think it couldn’t be used out to ELR distances.
If I was going ELR/ULR, I can’t think of a better scope.
Mine has made me all but retire my spotting scope.

I’ve shot 25x and 35x ATACRs out to 2500yds. They always work great.

The only limitation is the wind age limiter. If you have a lot of wind (6+ mils), you’ll bump up against it.
