In a 7.62mm chamber should both a 7.62mm specific and .308 specific GO GAUGE allow the bolt to close?

Should both a 7.62mm and .308 specific NO-GO GAUGE allow the bolt to close?

A .308 No-Go gauge could allow the bolt to close in a 7.62x51 chamber. Read this link, it has a good explanation of the chamber and gage differences (and why it can be hazardous to use .308 ammo in an unchecked 7.62 chamber):

Sharpsnitro - Perfect. That is what I experienced, the .308 no go does allow the bolt to close on my 7.62mm rifle.
