Yesterday i purchased an in stock heavy target Krieger barrel from Bruno, today i purchased a Surefire brake to go along with the rebarreling job. My question, the barrel diameter at the muzzle is .875, the brake says it requires a maximum of .775 the first 2.75" from the end of the barrel. Will this work?? I think i am having a brain fart and i'm hoping this is something the smith can easily make work....Thanks

Re: 7.62 Surefire Brake mount Question

In addition to threading the muzzle 5/8x24 you will need to turn down thefirst 2.75" of barrel to make it fit--no big deal for any competent smith.
