My prayers are with the families of the fallen and injured, but I am also curious what the details are of why they were there.

Disbarred = kicked out of a club of criminals. Why were they busting down the door? Was there a kidnap victim in the house?
They say they were there to serve a warrant looking for a 27 year old accused of sexually assaulting a minor.
Well next to a kidnap victim I’d say thet is reason enough.
alleged child molester. but no proof yet, hope the ones wounded get recover. if someone was in danger in the house I can understand the busting down the door, seems the guy doing the shooting was not the one they were after. lets see how this turns out legally.

A guy on my hunting clubs wife is related to one of the officers that got shot we were talking about it after hunting this morning he was telling me that the shooter used a AR10 308 and the officer that died was shot from 250-300yds he wasn't even one of the first officers on the seen he was just getting off duty and came there as backup after the call came out multiple shots fired. This whole "firepower" thing is bullshit anyone with a bolt action rife with a little skill could have done just as much or more.
