I was cleaning primer pockets, and my 7 year old son was watching me,and asked if he could help.Of course I said yes.He proceded to measure and seat 80 308 loads.I was at a loss for words. He has watched for a while, but not really helped.I was so proud of him. Some of you may not really care, but I am bragging on him.We have been best
buddies for along time, but now we are bestest buddies.

Re: 7 year old reloader!

Thats awesome. My father told me along time ago, "pick them up every chance you get because it won't be long before you can't". This is so true. Glad to see you are teaching him.

Re: 7 year old reloader!

Mine is almost 4 and he likes stacking the brass already. Another year or 2 and I'll let him start helping

Re: 7 year old reloader!

Thought I was the only one. My 5 yr old daughter loves to hang out with my in my gun room. I even mad her a little bench to help out when she wants to. She loves to work the presses and even does alot of my bullet sizing and lubing. I told her she has to wait until shes 7 before i take her shooting. She has her eyes in my light wieght AR-15,and asks all the time to shoot. Hope she doesnt change her mint to soon.
