700 5R 300 Win - base screw size?

How would I find the scope base screw size for this rifle? I tried searching and found nothing on the factory size. Some say is the smaller size, some say the 300 is the 8/40? Anyone know for sure? Thank you.

6/48 from the factory, guaranteed. Put a badger 30moa base with the #6 screws on my 5R 300wm build

I agree, I had to get a new set from badger because I lost my screws and it is the smaller size. I had considered making it the larger size instead of just replacing my lost ones. I have a factory .300WM 5R.
