Gunsmithing 700 action sleeve

Looking for information about installing action sleeve on Remington 700. Any help would be appreciated.

Try a post on the forums at benchrest.com as sleeving 700's was very common before all of the custom BR actions started showing up.

Try a quick Google search for Davidson action sleeve. Lots of info there. No personal exp on my part although I have considered it on occasion

They are a lot of work. Greg of gretan rifles has a great video out that has been around for years http://www.gretanrifles.com Works well and up to a week ago my own .260 match rifle was sleeved. Went to ground PTG bolts. Accomplishes the same thing but gets rid of the bumps.

Jamie, I think the op was referring to sleeving the action in order to stiffen if I'm not mistaken.
