Gunsmithing 700 action/trigger lube info?

Re: 700 action/trigger lube info?

No. The consensus seems to be that you keep it clean and dry by flushing it out with lighter fluid (naptha), blowing it dry, and don't oil it internally. If you want to anti-rust the housing with something like Eezox, I feel that is in order.

Most people run them dry. Reason being oil (depending on how light or thick) attracts dust & dirt. It can freeze up the trigger or not make it work right over time. I take WD40 hose the internals out and then hit it with about 40PSI of compressed air. Never had any problems.
