I have a 700 BDL with a walnut stock on it, However I noticed that there are a few "spots" that look like finger prints but can not be rubbed out simply with a lint free towel, does anyone know of any type of wax or oil to get them out? The rifle is like new and never been hunted with, thanks!

On a glossy stock with the factory Urethane finish, try some good car wax/polish. A very fine rubbing compound would work if you are careful.

yep, momst automotive finishes are Acrylic Urethane. 3m makes a nice hand polishing compound and it is "clear coat safe". Liquid Ebony is another polish that works well.

I think you will need 0000 steel wool gently rubbed to remove finger prints. The stock must have gotten hot when grasped or the grabber was at the factory.

Shoot a picture of it.
