some of my older manuals list 44 grs as max for the 180,newer manuals list 41-42 as max,,
I am using new Lapua brass,CCI 200 primers and the 175 SMK loaded to 2.815,,I started at 41 and worked up to 45 .5 grs at a time,,groups started coming together at about 43 and the 44,44.5 and 45 gr loads were shooting bugholes,,looked less than .250 at 100 yards,,
rifle has been glass bedded over the bedding block and has the Jewell trigger with 4 ounce -1 pound spring and a 24X Leupold scope,,temps were in low 70`s and I see no pressure signs even at 45 grs,,primers arent flat and no shiny spots on case head and extraction is silky smooth,,
would you use the 45 gr load as it looked really good on paper and clocked a little over 2700,,I have Varget and RL15 to try but the 4064 seems to be good,,after 50 rounds the barrel has no powder fouling and cleans up really easy,,
