I have tried all three places. none have the non riveted magnum extractor. Will a riveted style work in a newer bolt with out the rivet installed?
Thanks
Jim

Worst case its just a hole and a little peening.

Re: 700magnum extractor

To get this stright in my head you have a newer model 700 magnum that does NOT have the extractor that uses a rivet? I ask because I have a new 700 magnum that does use the rivet and everywhere I've searched they do not list an extractor without the rivet. Just want to make sure I'm searching for the right thing.

Re: 700magnum extractor

These are all current production bolts:

If you look closely, you will not see the cuts for the "feet" of the non-riveted extractor do not exist as the wall of the bolt nose is too small.
The magnum bolts use a riveted extractor.

That's what I was thinking 2156SMK, but I wasn't 100% sure. Thanks, I learned something today. So why are you looking for a non-riveted extractor Jim?
