Hello!

New to long range shooting and my cousin recommended this site. I have been researching and reading up on my recent 308 purchase on your forums and found them to be top notch and a great deal of help! I have been shooting off and on for better part of 25 years and finally decided to get the 700 I have wanted for almost as long. I am a computer support guy by day and live in the Pacific Northwest.

Hoping you can help me out with a question. I did a bunch of searching and didn't find anything relevant but maybe I just didn't use the right search terms. I have a LaRue Tactical LT706 QD Swivel Mount Harris Bipod and want to use it with my Remington 700P LTR with the standard HS Precision stock. As I understand it, the sling studs are 2" apart on it. Anyone have a recommendation on a bolt on adapter I can make or purchase to make this work? I found two different possible solutions and was hoping someone could chime in and let me know how well they work.

Accu-Shot BT15 - Link - Seems a good option but I have read that the relieved base is too deep for the shallower curve of the HS stock. Perhaps the BT17 instead?

Seekins Precision SRS Rail - Link - Lower profile and might be a better fit for the stock.

Anyhow, hope you don't mind the questions and look forward to visiting the site and learning more about my new hobby. Thanks in advance!
