I have a used Remington 700P with HS Precision stock that the previous owner converted to use a detachable magazine. I don't like it at all and want to convert it back to factory specs. Does anyone know where I can get the factory floor plate parts and exactly what I would need?

If for an M5-type bottom metal, please send me a pic of the inletting, describe the overall condition of the stock, and tell me if you think it was professionally done. I have a non-messed with Short Action HS PSS stock in VG+ condition I would trade.

ETA: I just remembered the barrel channel was opened up to M24 contour barrel, but the factory Varmint contour looks fine in it.

Thanks

Not sure how fast you want it or what you want to pay but the factory bottom metal comes up forsale in the hide classifiers often. Keep an eye open in there and you can normally pick it up pretty cheap.

Not really looking to trade, just want to buy some replacement parts. I don't know much about these rifles, so I have no idea what type it is.

Did these rifles ever come from Remington with factory detachable magazines? I just found documentation that this rifle was serviced by Remington for issues related to the detachable mag. I can't imagine that they would service aftermarket parts.
