Just finished this thing yesterday so first and for most was to test and tune the basics. Well as luck would have it I have an Exitron stepper motor that will accept a programmed set of movements. After running the manual version enough to time out the correct sequence I can mount the collet / motor assembly on the end of the stepper motor shaft and have automatic dwell in the flame, rotate to dump, raise to load with pause then raise to dwell in flame. </div></div>
That actually would be a nice little set up if you did that. If you make it, most pics. I would be interested to see how it turned out.

Nice! For me the trickiest thing in your setup is those heat sink collets. Can you make some for 308 and 338LM, say usable on a cordless drill?

Sure - but I don't have metalworking capabilities here (for now at least

Id like to ask those of you that do a lot of annealing, are most of you doing it by hand? I have never worried about it with Lapua brass but for my 300WSM and 300WM Im using Win brass and it has been horrible. I have been thinking about doing some annealing but was just going to do it with a glove and torch until I saw this thread which made me wonder, are most of you guys using something to speed up the process? Seems like doing 500 cartridges of WSM and 400 of WM by hand will take a few days.
Great setup here its really got me thinking, love to see what others are doing.
