I am currently using .308 necked down RP brass and some Winchester 7mm08 brass, but after all of the work I have into it, if I was to do it again I would just buy all Winchester 7mm08 brass. SScott
I use Lapua 260 brass. I turned the necks from .0016 to .00145 and then make one pass thru an expander die. Load and shoot. But I am beginning to think it would be easier and less expensive to shoot Winchester a couple of times and toss it.
I just finished sorting 200 pieces of Winchester brass. 199 pieces weighed from 156.1 grains to 158.4 grains, with is within my (actually Fred Sinclair's) 2% range. The 1 case was 154.8 gr. That was after the flash hole was deburred.
