I built a 7mm 338 Papua imp. I fireformed brass over 2 yrs hunting with 104 gns of wc872 175 gameking in lands. They shot great. Killing several deer. Now I'm loading up my first loads with formed bUrass and getting lots of pressure very sticky bolt. Can't hardly open. People that I read about was going up to 110 gn I started at 104 what I formed with even went down and still have pressure. So I backed off lands .025 and down 1gn n still pressure. Having to trash alot of brass cause the case won't go in shell holder. Please help.

Yep, certainly not a powder speed issue.

Back down to about 98gr and work up from there. A friend of mine has the same thing and he's getting pressure at about 99.5-100gr of Retumbo, at 104gr of WC872 I'm a little surprised but if you tried 110gr of it I'm not surprised you got pressure.

Might also try the 189 Cuateruccio bullets too. They have nice thick jackets like the 175 SMK does but with a bunch of BC on them and it's a little more suited to the behemoth of a case you have there.
