Hey guys just wanted to do a follow up post on a savage switch barrel I had questions about a few months ago. After reading some forum posts and asking questions I decided to do a 7mm saum on a savage action I had, and man did it turn out great. In the beginning I could only get ahold of 168 sierras but they seem to shoot ok holding 1 moa out to 300 yards in early load develpment yet though I know it can do better. Just got some 162 amax's and some rl 17 cant wait to give this a try deer season is coming up fast. I also wanted to thank the guys at benchmark for the great barrel and all the help they gave great guys to deal with and an easy cleaning barrel. Also wanted to thank kevin at stockade for the magnum bolt head and the help he gave too. Now I'm thinking of sending the stock off to cdi for there dbm savage setup wondering if anyone has used it and what they think. Also if anyone has any load data for 162 amax's or 175 sierra's I'd love to hear them. Now if I could figure out how to post picks from my phone I would show you guys how it turned out.

Upload the pics to somewhere like Picasa from the phone.
Get on the 'puter and look at the photos, right click, "properties"

I would definitely like to see this one. I am quickly becoming a Savage fan and am leaning toward the SAUM over the WSM when I decide to pursue a 7mm.
