If a person was to buy a rem 700 in 7mm rem mag and have it rechanbered in 7mm STW would you be able to put it in a 338 lapua AICS stock to be able to use the length of the mag?

I'd think that the worst thing that you'd have to do is bend the feed lips in some AI 300WM mags.

yes you can do that with the 338 lapua or the newer CIP mags you will have to bend the feed lips in a little but then you will be good to go. The 300 win mag magazines will work for the 7mm rem mag but will be to short for the 7mm STW. just check the shoulder position aswell it should be fine because the shoulder diameter is smakker than an ultramag but if the shoulder fouls then the ribs will need milling out but that is the standard mod for the ultramags so it is common.

yes all remington long actions are the same length so just use the long action chassis and the 338 Lapua mags.
