Retumbo, 168gr Berger, We have shot that at 1 mile but don`t forget, that thing is HARD on barrels.

I had one. I shot the 180 berger at 3313fps. Freaking flat shooting for about 800 rds. My plan was to rebarrel to .338 edge. But ended up selling it and building a 7/300 wsm instead. I love the 162 amax. Sucks buying the 300 smk.

I might consider your barrel if you rebarrel.My 7rum was a 3/8 group gun. Shot barnes 160 ttsx only though. Hunting rig.

factory load on your barnes or handloads? Anyone shot any of the HSM bullets? i have some coming loaded with 180 bergers.
