Probably been asked a million times, but search hates me so here it is again


can you run the 162 amax through a factory remmy 7mm08 tube?

also what sort of speeds do you reckon i'd get with a 20" barrel?

It should run through the factory barrel.

Probably around 2650 for 20"

As long as the twist is 1:10 or better you should be OK.

I'm still working on speed, popped a few primers with my 24" Duglas 1:10ish, JBM tells me that I was running around 2695 with the dope I had on at 1000yds (32.5 IPHY/31 moa). None of them hit sideways.
