80 gr flat base berger in 6br

anyone shooting these with any degree of accuracy? what is your powder of choice?
I found H 4895 to be the best for me.This is for short range f class nothing over
300 yds..Thanks

When I had a 6br the flat base Bergers were wicked accurate @ 300 yrd . Even out to 600 yrd they were 'Respectable' on the groups even out there for being light weights .

also in the .30 cal. 150 grn. flat base Bergers out a .308win . they were also grouping real good @ 600 yrd. when I shot them . The BC is lower than Target boat tails design (imho) Accuracy is king over BC & flat base Bergers are friggin badass up until they hit the wall .
.

edit add:
I was using Viht. powder .
also/ One day I even tagged some hits on steel out 1025 yrd. with that 6br & ( 68 grn ) berger flat base bullets . When I went out there to see hits. I found couple of the Mushroomed jackets laying on ground in front of the steel & you could make out the hit marks but there were some pretty light prints on the witness marks . Energy is lacking out that far with 80 grn & 6BR . but the Flat Base bullet do there best not to disappoint you .

I'm interested in your findings also, especially seating depths. I'm trying to develop a load for the 88gr FB. My gun shoots the 95vld lights out, three test groups under .250", best being .160", but the 88's, I maybe have a 1/2" five shot group and getting better going into the lands, just need to shoot more of them, but if wont get better, I'm going to look at 80's or 68-9 grs, just looking for a 200 yard load, the vld's should go to 600??
