i know about an inch or so of the forarm on the left side needs trimmed so the action can be cycled on the 870 when a forarm is on ( 6 rnd for arm ) are their any forarms that are made short for this reason ?

i have though about getting a tri or quad rail forarm but if its to long i would have to cut the aluminium, since i dont have access to a mill any more to make sure the cut is good and squair i really dont want to cut if i go this rout

Re: 870 for arm for side saddle

I cut the forearm back originally on my 870, as I made it out of a turkey model. I put a surefire forearm on it and it fits fine with the side saddle. Solves two problems with one upgrade, the light and the uncut forearm.
